Day 1: Arrival – Welcome to Kilimanjaro

Day 2: Trekking from Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

After a delicious breakfast, meet your guide and trekking crew for a quick pre-climb briefing before heading to Marangu Gate (1,860m). As you embark on your Kilimanjaro journey, you’ll trek through lush rainforest, where the sights and sounds of tropical wildlife await. Keep an eye out for sudden tropical rain showers—make sure to pack your rain gear!

Upon reaching Mandara Hut (2,720m), your support crew will have everything prepared for your arrival, including a hearty meal. Tonight, you’ll sleep in specially designed mountain huts, offering a cozy alternative to tent camping.

Day 3: Trek from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

After lunch, you’ll take an essential acclimatization hike, ascending 200m to help your body adjust to the altitude, before returning to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved dinner.

Acclimatization Tip: These short hikes are crucial in preparing your body for the summit, improving your chances of success and reducing the risk of altitude sickness.

Day 4: Trek from Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Upon reaching Kibo Hut, you’ll have the afternoon to rest, hydrate, and prepare for the most thrilling part of your climb—the journey to the summit.

Day 5: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak and Descent to Horombo Hut

While the trek is not technically difficult, the altitude makes this section challenging. Each climber will have their own dedicated guide to provide support and encouragement as you conquer the summit.

Day 6: Descent from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate

Afterwards, we’ll transfer you back to your hotel for a well-earned rest.
