When travelling to Uganda, ensure you apply online to secure your entry visa before you arrive at Entebbe airport. Our team can assist with the visa process at no additional cost. A valid passport, six months beyond your travel date, is mandatory for all visitors.

For tourism, you’ll need:
A passport copy with at least 6 months validity
A detailed tour plan
Your travel itinerary/booking
A recent passport-size photograph
Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
Hotel booking or other accommodation details

For business purposes, such as meetings or conferences, the requirements include:
A passport copy with at least 6 months validity
An invitation letter with a clear address and business details in Uganda
A recent passport-size photograph
Yellow Fever vaccination certificate
The immigration status of your host

The visa fee is USD 50, non-refundable, and subject to bank charges. All documents must be in English, and additional documents may be requested.

Health-wise, travel insurance is crucial, as healthcare costs can be high. Drink only boiled water, and avoid unboiled river water to prevent diseases. Yellow fever vaccinations are necessary to enter Uganda, and malaria prophylactics are strongly recommended, especially during the rainy season. If coming from a yellow fever-endemic country, an international yellow fever inoculation certificate is required. Vaccinations for typhoid, measles, and hepatitis A are also highly recommended.

Regarding safety, crime is a significant concern only in certain areas, with violent crime against tourists being rare. However, always prioritize personal safety and remain vigilant.
